Question Outlook 2002 acting retarded, again.

Hey ppl, I hope you are having a good week...

Outlook masters, anything you can contribute to my current puzzle would be sooo greatly appreciated...

We got outlook 2002, in this case on a 98 machine. It is connected to the network, and the network is connected to the web via a modem router. This client is sending and recieving internal email via the excahnge server. It is recieving email through their pop3 server (not on site) just fine as well (i sent a test email to them from here and the got it right away)...

However we cannot recieve the email from the outside...(unable to connect to the network, check you network connection or modem)(0x800ccc13) BUT- and this is the killer, the test email in outlook works- the POP3 test goes out and the response comes back...
I have walked em through removing and reinstalling the account, and removing and re-installing TCP/IP... There was one KB article sort of close to my issue which essentially sez to d/l the newest IE and OE, which I have them doing, but over dial-up I will not know until tomorrow if that helps...

SO. If anyone has been through this, I would looooove to hear about it!

Thanks in advance! You people ROCK!

I think I had a similar problem on Outlook on my handheld PC. I was trying to send/receive email and it said I couldn't download or send. It was because I was connected to another ISP and my ISP only allows me to download or send mail if I am connected using my ISP and not another one.
