    I have searched on Google but could only find the video of the book, looked on B&N and Amazon with no luck. I need to find the author's name for a friend of mine. Thanks!!

    Ooh..Ooh... a Sci Fi question! Soylent Green is based on the book "Make Room! Make Room!", which I have in one of my bookcases at home (written in the mid-60's a great sci-fi age). Yep written by Harry "Stainless Steel Rat" Harrison.
