    Yay, more legislation

    A proposal to allow the "entertainment industry" to secretly hack your machine if they deem you are downloading illegal music / movies.

    Stop , you pirates!

    Now, I'm not an advocate of piracy, but I'm not one for more broad range government laws drawn up by technologically challenged mo-rons either.

    Hell this is going to far. If the police appear at your door and ask to search your house they need a warrent. PC's should be no different.
    OK I admit I do download music onto my computer BUT I'm probably one of the few people who go out and buys a album if I like what i hear. If I dont like it I press the delete key as what is the point of having music stored which you dont like.
    As for stoping Priracy it will continue as long as some can put a microphone in front of a speaker and press a record button
