Its funny how the last thing to be packed up is the computer, and the first thing to be unpacked is the computer same happend to us when we moved to our new home...

So let me get this straight. You guys are moving all this stuff over to Moticia's Dad's house, not into the house your buying??? SOooo, the next few days (or perhaps next week) youll start re-moving things from her dads, to the new house....
So basically your moving twice????
Argh!!!!! I feel for you guys....

Her dads house is on the corner and ours is at the end of the block from him. We get our stuff in the neighborhood.... makes for an easier move when it DOES FINALLY come.

Glad to hear one nightmare is over.
What's keeping you from moving in sooner? Previous owners are still in there?
If your contract has a "moving in" date, or a date where you become the official owners, then it's up to you to decide whether or not you're willing to wait - not the real estate agent.

I know when we were moving into our new house back in January it was the same deal. The title agency was waiting for the former owners to sign some paper work, they were out of the house (moved to AZ). The Real Eastate agent went ahead and gave us the key and we started moving in 2 weeks before we actually closed.
