    Cool Utilities paid is a good thing

    its been in the 90's for a couple of weeks here and my Central AC hasn't hardly been off. man i'm glad i dont pay utilities! anybody else have utilities included in the rent?

    moved in with my g/f about 6 mths ago ,,,still paying morgage on my house ,,,(hope to sell it soon) ,,anyway she is on UK state benefit ,,,(social security) and they pay the rent. ,,,a block of flats i live in (upstairs/downstairs - all with there own enterances ) are attached to an old folks home ,,,and the central heating/hot water / water supply are included in with the rent ,,,,that works out @ about £400 per year for water + at least £20 aweek for heating /hot water ,,,,,


    and the counsil who admin/pay ,,,have not clicked on for the last 2 years..

    nice and quiet ,,,(old folk) and warm in winter ,,,,,,


    have kept same phone No.,,,,but no body calls around @ 9pm with a "small" problems anymore


    freddy - the warm , well looked after (in clean clothes) fed well and loved ,,,warm and happpppppyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy

    PS have been divorced/single for 18 yrs

    I rent and I have to take care of the owners's grass. My water bill used to be $30 at the old place, this month came out to $185! I wish I had my utilities paid.

    Yeah, I used to have utilities included in my rent, before I bought a house. I was really bad too. In the winter, I would have the heat cranked, and the windows in my bedroom open so I could also get some fresh air. Those were the days. . .
