Just a couple of questions.

Ive been away for a while selling my home and preparing for a move. I came back to find the forums changed and somehow my post count dropped? I dont keep track of it and I dont feel the need to go to the mods to have it corrected since its not really that important....but does anyone know why this is? I dont know exactly how many posts I had but I know it was well over 500.

On another note, I have to approve the new forum look. I find it more easy on the eyes, and slightly more user friendly. Did I say user??

as of right now, I don't think anybody really knows why post count dropped. but a few speculations:

• The steam room has not returned yet, therefore posts were lost from there.(I never posted, or had access and lost post count)
• some forums were pruned, (Web-type stuff, Tech speak out)
• possible connection between company forums lost(I don't think the post count was connected to the company forums)
• just a simple glitch in the conversion from UBB to vBulletin

I rule that one out. My post count would be at about 700 if it wernt' for the Steam room...

Maybe, but I don't think pruned forums cut down post counts

A glitch? A glitch in a computer program? NEVER!!
Goid possibly of that one, too...

One more thought is when Scott did the conversion, the post count was re-calculated based on all the posts in the old UBB, and there may have been some falloff of the way-old posts.

Interesting, I guess if im not the only one whose experienced the problem then its no big deal though. Even though I was over 500 posts I never posted in the steam room so you can rule that out right away.

Don't feel too bad. I lost almost 2/3 of my posts...a lot in the Steam Room, and a lot in the Company Forums...although I'm not sure if that was the entire reason...
