Penguin going back to school?!?!?!
Yep, you heard right. I just found out that the Co that I work for will reimberse me to go to school for what-ever I want. So Im making them put their money where their mouth is. I just back back from signing up and registering at the local Tech College for some Programming classes.
I aslo got some strings pulled so that I dont have to take some of those silly prerequsite classes (you know, the Math101, Reading 120, Begining Progaming 101 etc.)
Wish me luck!!!!

Hey good luck CC, I went back four years ago and it paid off. I got one class left (Algebra) and I'm done. good thing you don't have to take the other classes, finished all my "fun" classes over a year ago.

WWWWWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! !!!!!
Just found out some interesting new....
Since my wife is a Catawba Indian, They will pay for most of my tuition, books, pay for my mileage to drive back and forth to school and pay me by the hour to actually sit in class. My company will still pay for some of my classes as well, so most of it will be cash in the pocket
The only kicker is that there is a one year waiting list. But man its nice to know that there is more help out there for paying for learning. So I may actually go back and finish the degree that I started years ago...
Thanks for all of the support and kind words, its appreciated....

You're on the right track. Use any means possible to gain financial assistance. If your wife's ancestry will get you more financial assistance, by all means use it to your advantage...
