    advanced power management problem

    I am using Win 98SE. I get the error "computer cannot go into standby".

    It won't work if the board is not ACPI compliant....Especially 98.

    It has worked before on my system, but now pops up the error message every time it tries to go into standby. I had also gotten around this problem before by setting up APM after every time I rebooted.
