Ad-Aware.Plus
Hi! I am have some software called Ad-Aware.Plus which gets rid of Spy ware on your system.
I have done a scan on my system and it found some files and registry keys that it detected.
What I wanted to know is has anyone used this software before and is it safe to use and can I safely delete the files and registry keys it detected.
Thanks

Sure it's completely safe and trusted IMHO. Many people in these forums use and recommend it.
If your a little worried, you can always back up the items that it offers to remove, just to be safe.
Good Luck~

Been using it since Steve Gibson took his proggie out and recommended it. Works great.
It will kill Imesh and cripple KaZaa if you don't pay attention.

Use it and love it! If you are a little worried, back the files up. A friend of mine crashed his computer a few years ago with this program. But it was a few years ago and was probably one of the first releases of it. I personally have never had a problem with it. BTW, be sure to look for and download any updates for the spyware library!

Just in passing, if you use Kazaa or Kazaa Lite there's a spyware file that Ad-Aware will find that you shouldn't delete. It's a dummy file in Kazaa Lite, but it's still required to run.

When I ran it on my system I didn't realise but kazaa was runnig in the background so it probabaly couldn't delete any files for it if there were in because it was in use.
It seem to be working fine. Thanks for that
