MPEG 4 Audio in Windows XP
Does anyone know if a plugin exists to use this audio format with Windows Media Player 8 in XP? My Mac OS X buddies say Apple has a pluggin and the small size and quality are really good.

I'm pretty sure there are codecs out there you can download that will allow this. If not, there should be separate player programs you can download for free that have the codecs built-in.

Quicktime 6 has MPEG-4 support
RealOne player has a mpeg codec that you can download via their update.
There may be codecs out there for WMP, but Microsoft has yet to officially include/support a MPEG-4 codec
