Bootable Cd

I didnt know where else to post this but here it goes..

Im trying to take a hard drive which is partition to 300 megs with dos 6.22 on it.

What I need to do is img the hard drive and burn it to cd and have the cd bootable.

I want to beable to run the dos 6.22 right off the bootable cd..Like a live test.

Ive tryed using norton ghost and ghost the cd to a image then burnt that. But when it boots off the cd it just sites there with a blinking curser.

    Configurations I did.

    -- Sector by sector
    -- Copy mbr
    -- Standared Ghost

I have also tryed burning a floppy iso (bootable) then place the files I wanted in there then burn it.

And samething, just a blinking curser.

    Ghost 2002?

You can burn the image to a disk and make it bootable.

Its one way I have tryed..

Ive been reading on how to create a bootable img from the hard drive, and one saidto use ghost, or drive image.

But I dont think it works.

I need a software or somthing that will put the full hard dive to cd and make it bootable.

I will boot off the cd and run it like I would on the hard drive

sorry if i am missunderstanding u

do you want a "bootable" cd of a full o/s?

I would imagine that the last o/s that u could use (bootable) would be win 3.11 ,,,with the pagefile set to non.
in my efforts I have never got 9x to be bootable and running from a cd.

although , a few years ago i had a faulty l/top (h/drive) and "imaged" 3.11 on disk to boot to type l;etters etc -( could not save em??? ),,,,,in my case i was using it for "sending" NOKIA logo,s ,,,,,(made a lot of pennies!!!!!)

if u meen simpley to "reload" an image from a cd then ghost 2002 will write a bootable cd (win.com in 9x - pc-dos in 2k etc)

    good luck FtF
