[RESOLVED] "Software not loading for KX-FM131 fax

"Hi,

I could not load the software for my multi function fax machine(FAx+PRinter+scanner+telephone). Model: KX-FM131bx, A panasonic brand. when installing the software in my computer having a operating system windows millenium edition, iam getting a message that the PC is not connected with the fax, check the following, Acceptable cable RS-232 Straight through cable.

But with the same cable i have installed in the same software in windows 95 arabic enabled version and windows 98 arabic enabled version, but i couldnot in windows 98 english version, and in windows me.

The software version is 1.3 and i have checked with the distributer they say to check the computer. Wheter i have to update the driver or what? i have checked in windrivers.com i could not get one. Please help Me.Thanks...Ravi

Drivers for WinME are hard to find for some hardware manufacturers. Keep checking Panasonic's web site for updates and/or contact their tech support for guidance...
