need some help for VM
can any one tell me where can i get Microsoft VM i look on MS web site and i can not find it and i do not want to wait fot SP 1 to come out. I had WIn Pro on my PC and i change it to home can some one help

since the ms settlement they were unable to do this at the ms website, but this is right from sun micro, it is java vm....

We discussed this a few weeks ago. You used to get it strait from MS updates, then had to hunt it down in MS updates, now no one seems to be able to find it from MS at all.

awww not again...
It is available at microsoft - but only if you know where
M$ Java VM
Suns Java works very well for many apps, but some were written with on M$ vm in mind and will not work with Sun's - no way no how!

Thanks Noo, I've been looking for this. For some reason, Sun's version just annoys me.

Try rebooting as installing again, if that dont work, take some of that stuff out of your system tray, reboot and try again

OK, that is very odd indeed
Never had java install fail on me before in any os...
so blind suggestions
1. Try installing in safe mode
2. Uninstall Internet Explorer in safe mode, reinstall in normal mode then install java
Have you got any other browsers?

Probably some files it needed were locked by the os, in safe mode you cannot hear windows scream.....
