"Anyone who instigated those ugly and disparaging remarks against Ashanti is fostering black-on-black hatred. It just happened that a number of people with modems and computers took the opportunity to jump on."

    Zamora, who is of Filipino descent, said he finds Soul Train's response to his petition "degrading and insulting." He plans to further protest the awards by not watching them.

    Ummm, Don Cornelius hasn't been cool in 20 years, and Soul Train has sucked for at least 15 years. I guess I won't be watching either, or did it happen already. I have no idea. I hate award shows anyway.

    This is shocking & suprising for 2 reasons. 1) I didn't know that Don Cornelius was still alive. 2) I didn't know that Soul Train was still on the air.
