Upset Aspi in XP
Oh so easily done... just to let you know Adaptec snuck out a new version of aspi drivers 4.71 in May this year and gone are all the warnings about installing it for any os....
Lets see if that helps!
Oh yes, big improvement - EAC works properly now!!

no an aspi "layer" is used for more than scsi ,,,,,I will let someone find a link for you to explain it ,,,there again if u don,t use it then dont worry about it
as well as noo noo,s link to the latest one , here is a link to the previous ver (4.60) ,, ftp://ftp.321studios.com/ASPI/ForceASPI.exe .
EAC is a prog called "easy audio extractor"
Ps noo noo the new version also gives an improvement in 2k (smartripper flies now)
cheers

Ohh, I thought it was only used for SCSI components, since lots of sites says that ASPI = Advanced SCSI Programming Interface, including the links given here!? Kinda misleading name, ehh!? ...Well, it doesn't seem like it's something I have to fiddle with right now anyway!
