Dont bother, in 2k you can run software RAID (built into the OS) and from what I've experienced with it, it uses very little (1-5%) of the cpu and costs alot less

Except in 2k, my gaming performance takes a huge hit. Was on the order of 50% in some cases though I'm not sure if that'll be true with my 8500. Though that is an interesting alternative if the performance of it is up to snuff.

Just read some on Toms Hardware, and he also says that the performance hit was very low when he setup his RAID 0 with 2,3 and 4 drives

I have never had a problem RMAing a drive to anyone, ever. Seagate seems to have a long turn around but nothing to complain about. Heck, I even got quantum to RMA a bigfoot drive from a compaq that they were not obligated too. I was new at that shop and all the boss said was to RMA it but did not say to who. LOL!
