[RESOLVED] Epson Stylus 480
The printer will not print after the Pc has been restarted it will only work when the drivers have been installed. Anytime it is restarted the drivers need to be removed and reinstalled. The priner has been working fine for about 3 months. The Pc it is attached to is a Compaq deskpro 4000 series is it possible for there to be a fault with there not being a diag partion on the hdd? If anyone has any suggestions please help as this is needed very urgently.

Hi,
Do you have the latest drivers? You might check the link below...it lists updated drivers dated August, 2000:

Good Luck!

Glad to hear you finally got it whipped. Was it the drivers I referred you to, or something else?
Just curious...
Anyway, Have a Happy!!!

Problem was to do with a corrupt reg and faulty drivers I downloaded them of epson and they didn't work. The customer had already asked to upgrade to win 98se so I did that then retried the epson drivers of the cd still didn't work. Downloaded them of epsons web site and they worked fine. Cheers for the advice.
