    DCOM erros

Ok im new here, and windows errors and fixing them is by far my strong point, infact i have no idea what im doing. For a while ive been getting lots of error messages in my event logger. I have to clear it out every now and then cause theres so many. (From 23/08/02 - 2/09/02 i had 2,448 errors) :// I clear my list about 20 min ago and restarted my PC, checked the loggs straight away and got this error repeated 34 times, exactly the same one. So ive disabled soemthing i just have no idea what :/

DCOM got error "The service cannot be started, either because it is disabled or because it has no enabled devices associated with it. " attempting to start the service SENS with arguments "" in order to run the server:

Yes the event ID is 10005. It says that its been confirmed as a problem with the products at the start of the article, which is Microsoft Operations Manager 2000. And I have no idea what that is Is it something that comes pre installed with windows XP? Or .. well, i really have no idea :/

Go here Kula and compare your services to the explanations listed, maybe you have got something stopped that causing this.

I've been to that sight before, but since theres so many options for what to enable and disable I must have disabled the wrong thing I've gone though and set them all to defaults though so should hopfully work now. Thanks for the help.
