Any generic scanner drivers?
I have a HP ScanJet 3300C. I just updated my main graphics editing machine to Win2K without checking the HCL for the scanner. DOH! Drivers only available for $9.95 from HP in CD form. I bought the scanner and have a T1...why can't I d/l the drivers?
..on to my question
Are there any drivers I can install to make it appear like a TWAIN32 device? I'm just interested in getting the darn image in Photoshop 5.5, not using their stupid software. I upgraded my machine at work from 4.0 to 2K, and the driver for my 6300 came along fine.
HELP!!!

Once again, no. I'm looking for something that doesn't cost $9. I already bought the damn scanner and should be able to find a free solution. That is the page that drove me here. Thanx anyway.

Yes, I'm sorry. I just saw where the drivers for 2000 were on CD only. I also saw the 2000 Pro is available for download. Anyway, good luck in your search for a solution.

After reading between HP's lines, you'll find it's W2K Pro, but only if you've upgraded from 98/98SE and had the software installed before. So much for "customer service". ;-)
