    Displaying the Flag

    Lets see if anyone can help.

    When there are two flag poles one of which is fling the US flag at half staff. Should you remove the "company" flag? Fly it at half staff too? Fly it at full staff?

    I say take it down, but can't find specific wording to that fact.

    i belive that the american flag has to be the highest flag, but i'm not sure.

    That is what I thought as well. Texas has the only flag that is suppossed to be flown at the same height. I would definetly say either have the company flag at half or gone, just not higher.

    I found this on flag protocol . Scroll down to Position and Manner of Display...go to section f. It says that "When flags of States, cities, or localities, or pennants of societies are flown on the same halyard with the flag of the United States, the latter should always be at the peak. When the flags are flown from adjacent staffs, the flag of the United States should be hoisted first and lowered last. No such flag or pennant may be placed above the flag of the United States or to the United States flag's right."
