Creative Labs cd-rw with Easy CD Creator 5
Recently, I purchased a cd-rw from Creative Labs. After I installed it and Easy CD Creator, I attempted to test the new cd-rw. After I hit RECORD, I received a message stating that no supported drive/s were found. The new drive detects in CMOS and Windows, but Easy CD Creator 5 won't recognize it.
Why?
cd-rw: Creative Labs RW8439E
Windows version: M.E.

I had this problem with a Backpack cd-rw. What we found was for some reason the software wouldn't pickup the drive unless the software was installed FROM the cd burner. Dosn't really make sence, but try it anyways. Uninstall all software, and reinstall, but this time put the cd into the burner you just bought. That should take care of it.
