    Wink Trouble with printer port

    Hi there,
I am having problems printing anything from my system (using Win-ME). I've uninstalled and re-installed 3 printers which work on other systems, and I've tried uninstalling and re-installing the LPT1 port, so I'm thinking that the problem might be with a driver. Can anyone help? Do you need more information?
    Thanks very much!

    Just a silly idea...

Make sure the cable is plugged into the motherboard...sometimes, those puppies come unplugged...especially, if someone's been in there...

    Anyway, Good Luck!

Also try the spool settings sometimes this helps, check the settings in Bios for LPT1 port setting (EPP, ECP, AUTO)...
