Extending Restore Point Date
Is it possible to extend the date of a restore point?

What do you mean by extending the date? If you mean you want to perform a system restore and go back a few days/months/etc then yes, you can take it pretty far back, depending on how much space you have reserved for restore.

Restore points are by default deleted after 90 days, but you can change that in the registry!
Restore points are made by default every 24 hours, meaning that you can restore your system to any point within the last 90 days, this can also be changed!

Very useful thanks! I need to work out what 30days is in seconds now! Hmm.... 25920000 i think!
