    installing audigy

    I have am A7m266 and i want to upgrade to either the creative audigy or audigy2,
    I already have the sound blaster platinum

    in reading i realise audigy and audigy 2 use pci 2.1 i think
    can i install the card on my present MB, which i think uses Pci 1 (not sure)

    Here is the specification for your board

    Industrial Standard
    PCI 2.2, USB 1.1
    So you should be fine - it is USB 2 you cannot use.
