Service Pack 1 and Intel Inf Update?
Can anyone tell me, I have XP Pro updated with the Service Pack 1, I have the Intel 845D Chipset Mobo, do I need to run the Inf Chipset Update? the intel website shows yes to WinXP version 2600, but with the Service Pack 1 shouldn't this all be updated too?

If there are NO exclamations in Device Manager, then you would not have to install the Intel chipset software.

I agree, "If it ain't broke don't fix it" - you should be good to go with SP1 anyway. But there have been people who have applied these INF updates and hosed their OS because the INF file is only designed for Win98 and not Win95 or ME, for example.
