I had better not put this on our Intranet. Can you imagine the fallout. Check my profile if you dont know why.
It would be an all out monster war.

Have you tried the demo? Thats the best way to see how it will run on yours. Also try the Americas Army game. It is supposed to be built on the UT 2003 engine.

You got a good chance with the GeForce 3. It should run good on yours I would think.

No, americas army is built on the original UT engine, and is optimized for a GF 2 as for his system specs, it should work pretty well as long as he dont crank all the effects to the max

I thought I had read somewhere that if you can run Americas Army you should be able to run UT2003 just fine.

If he can run AA with no problem then UT2k3 should not be a problem, if the effects arent at max.

    I can play AA on my PII 350 (768Mb PC100 RAM) using a GeForce 2 MX400 64Mb...

...and I strongly doubt I could run UT2003 with any semblance of playability.

But I'll just have to D/L the demo to test that theory now, won't I?

I doubt that you are playing that with effects to the max tho

Give it a shot, what have you got to loose? Don't forget to download the demo patch.

BTW - I am an avid fan of both Quake3 and UT2003. If I had to choose one over the other I would say UT2003. But that is only because the engine is brand new. When DOOM III is released I'm sure it will dominate.

True - the only setting I can confirm at this time is the resolution of 800x600, but I don't think all the eye-candy is enabled.

So does this confirm that AA uses the UT2003 engine?

IF it has multiplay capability....... if the system requirement isnt TOOOOO high. UT2003 is pretty high but could Doom III be higher?
