Cool Epson C80 Error on ME

    Hi Gang,

I have a client with a KDS notebook running Windows ME. Printer port is LPT1 running ECP. Problem is this: When you print, the document will go part way thru and then the computer generates an error "Can not print to LTP1" and then the print process completely stops. The printer is an Epson C80 that test out ok on another system. I've tried the latest drivers and I have switched out the parallel printer cable. This client uses parallel because his other computer ( he uses printer on both) has no USB capability. Any ideas??

    Thanks in advance

    Wink

Solution Found!!! After rethinking this whole thing I started playing with the printer port setting in the bios. Changing the port to EPP was the fix.

    Thanks
