    Perrrrrrrrty setup!

Do I see that right - you've made your own "rounded" IDE cables?

Yeah, you see it right, that is a home-made round IDE cable on the RAID port at the bottom, it's split every 8 wires, bound with plastic tie straps, and loomed.

The thumbscrews were all scarfed from Gateway cases of machines I've upgraded and rebuilt. lol, that's about the only thing I like about Gateway computers.

I'm also gonna get another section of red wire lights and go around the Delta 80 in the rear of the case and the HSF. The 24x Lite-on burner is being swapped out for a 40x Lite-on Monday when it comes in UPS. I also ditched the 52x Creative ROM for a 16x Pioneer trayload DVD...

    Thumbs up Very cool!

    Lovely job on the mods!

Has anyone actually seen or experimented with any of the SATA drives that this board will support?

I notice that Maxtor lists some of their models as being available with a SATA interface.

OK, I'm at it again... I'm going with a 2GHz Northwood and gonna run it at 2.66GHz and see what the extra 260MHz gets me... It should be here Tuesday, I'll let you all in how it goes...
