    PC anywhere 10.5

Has anyone has any issues with PC anywhere between 09se and 2000?

I have a 2000 host and a 98 remote. When i have the Host ready for a connection and try to connect with the 98 Machine (Modem to Modem) The 98 PC will dial in and you can hear the modem chatterm and you can also here the modem chatter on the 2000 PC. But i get a error on the 98 machine that says Disconnected, Could not establish a connection, Timeout.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks

is the modem on the remote machine set to auto-answer? the command to set your modem to auto-answer is:
ATs0=1 (thats a zero, not the letter o).

to add this command do the following in win2k:
Click on "Start" and Settings, then "Control Panel".

    Open "Phone and Modem Options".

    Select the "Modems" tab.

Select your Modem from the list and then click onto "Properties"

Click onto the "Advanced" page tab.

The "Extra Initialization Commands" box is at the bottom of this window. Click onto that box and then type in the command that you want to issue the modem.

    Click "OK" and "OK".
