How to connect 2 laptops as a cluster
I have a couple 2000 workstation laptops that I would like to put together into a cluster. A program they run (I think it has something to do with autocad) uses hours and hours of computing time to produce a 5 to 10 second clip.
In the classroom all the desktop machines have dual processors to handle this, but two of the teachers are going to a confrence and will be needing to use this program in single processor laptops.
Is there a way I can put the two together to share processor power?
As always, thanks in advance.

Could`nt they use a T1/Adsl line to send the packets back to the lab and you send the clip back to them when processed?

These laptops are going to be at some confrence somewhere else in the country. So I have no idea what type of connection they will have if they even have one.

I HIGHLY doubt that's possible. If so, I'd love to hear of it and the software to do it would be beyond expensive.
They may just to have to make-do with what they have.
