Exclamation Print preview is blank and so is printed page?

I have a client that is on a network printing to a Tektronics (super nice printer) set up as a print server and a HP LaserJet 4MV printer attached to another computer. Problem is when they try and print a page off the internet, the print preview and the printed page is blank. It's only when printing from the internet this happens and on both printers. All other programs print fine from both printers. It's not a network problem and it's not a printer problem. Both printers have the newest drivers installed. So it's obviously a problem with IE settings but I've checked them and everything looks ok. They are using IE5.5 and Windows ME. Anyone have any ideas?? <img src="confused.gif" border="0">

The first thing I would try would be reinstalling or repairing IE 5.5.

Those Tektronics printers are nice. We have one at church that we got for "free" from freecolorprinters.com

    Exclamation

Go to File/Page Setup/Printer...do all of your printers show up in the drop down menu?
Concerning the Print Preview, I know that mine takes ten seconds or so before it actually displays anything. Until then, it looks blank...
If you're convinced that it is an IE problem (and it sounds like it is to me also) you might try upgrading to IE 6.0. You should probably upgrade anyway...
Sorry I couldn't help out more...let us know how it ends up. Good Luck!

I still haven't figured this one out. All the printers show up in control panel and I upgraded that workstation to IE 6.0 with the same results. I left the print preview screen running for a good 10 minutes and nothing came up. This only happens in IE and if you print preview in anything else, it behaves normally.

I'm beginning to think the answer is
    C:\format C: /s

IF your desperate for a solution I would try downloading Netscape. This has worked for me if IE is giving me problems. It take a long time I know but if it works it works.

My guess is that you either have a corrupted driver or one of the settings in the "Internet Settings" section of the control panel is not enabled. IF you don't want to download Netscape I would reset them to Default.

We've about given up on it. That client has to use IE to connect to a "spcific to their companies needs" website. The other company says they aren't compatable with netscape. I don't know exactly why, but that's what the other company told my client and myself. The secratary is going to another workstation to pull in and print what she's needing from the internet. I've defaulted everything in internet and printer settings with no joy.
