Toshiba Satellite 4100XCDT Bios
I have set a bios password but forgot what it is. Is there a way to clear the bios through jumper settings? Or maybe software?
I would appreciate any help given.

the password is disabled by a parallel port loopback.
here is a link on how to make one
you can also bring it to an authorized service provider and have them do it, but that would cost you.
I don't know exactly where in Ireland you are, but it seems the only service providers toshiba uk lists are in nothren ireland.

Loop Back Parallel adapter is very easy to make and it works!!
This is the same technique Toshiba technicians use to remove passwords!
