Multi OS boot CD-ROM???
Can you create a CD-ROM that allows you to boot of different OS's
IE... UNIX, LINUS, NTFS, DOS environments
We want to be able to create a CD-ROM that will have different Diagnotic tools on it. The tools that we have use different environments and different OS's to run....

Yes, it can be done (but will take time and patience by the looks of things.)
I got this document off the Windows XP 8in1 CD - I'm not sure if the information is legal or illegal so I'm hosting it on my webspace until I find out.
heres the link
Good Luck.

OK, been doing some searching found some other tools here!
They look promising, I'm wanting to compile a good diag CD soon, any ideas what tools?
So far I have,
PC-Check
Win98 Boot Disc
Dos 6.22
Linux with NTFS support
and various Anti-Virus sweeps.. (probably under a naked dos prompt)

Volcov Commander (small brother of Norton Commander) - I use it on any of my bootable CDs .
Small size (in minimal config just only 68Kb, in full - about 240Kb) allows to fit it in any 1,44Mb diskette among others useful stuffs... Besides, version 4.99 (and above) has special support for long_file_names in DOS...
Built-in menu (like in NC) allow also to add menu for different applications running from CD...
