Compaq iPAQ or Toshiba Handheld???

I've pretty much narrowed it down between those 2 makes. Has anyone had any experience comparing and using both? I like the fact that they now both come with some sort of dictation software... some of the Compaq's come with Via Voice which I have used in the past and found very reliable.

Just looking for some input. I am primarily comparing the under $400 models. So in the Compaq, it is a 206MHz with 64MB RAM, 32MB ROM & the Toshiba weighs in at 300MHz XScale, 64MB RAM, 32MB ROM...

The Toshiba seems more powerfull but the Compaq seems a little more functional from my little test run I have done with them.

Advice please.

go with the ipaq. Toshiba just recalled their top of the line handheld.

Recall's dont really scare me away from a product... Rather, I find it refreshing that companies do them. I was actually looking at the one just below that in the Toshiba line, the e330. The primary difference in the the 2 is CPU speed, 300MHz on the 330 and 400MHz on the one that was recalled.

I am just wondering if anyone has actually used both.

I think I am leaning more towards the Toshiba because of speed for the price. I am planning on playing with them a little more at the local stores before I decide.
