can my insprion 8200 take a radeon mobile 9000??
Just bought a dell inspiron 8200 with gf4 440 go. I'd like full direct x8 + hardware support so have decided to upgrade the graphics board in the laptop if possible.
Since neither dell their resellers or any local or national componenets suppliers can answer i wondered if one of you bofins here could 
Can the dell inspiron 8200 graphics board be replaced/upgraded to a radeon mobile 9000???

Just for the record.... the dell inspiron 8200 can be upgraded (if fitted with a gf2 go, 4go or radeon mobile 7500)to a radeon mobility 9000 and if you buy the card from dells own component suppliers... 'upgrade options ' you will not void your warranty by changing the card.. or so the guy on the phone told me???????..
anyway its good news.... mostly

Yeah, but how much? I have a new 2650 with the 32MB geforce2 go...........Supposed to be able to upgrade that one too.

direct from dells component suppliers.. around 300 quid i think...mayb a little more..... far to expensive ;(
