Multiple pages feeding through
Hi,
Have an HP 1000. The problem is that when printing, the printer will feed through 4-5 pages at a time. I ensured that the paper was not sticking together.
Any ideas on how I may resolve this problem?
Thanks,
D

My apologies, looks like this just pertains to "Drivers" so the post is not in the proper place.

most of the time, your problem is that the rollers need replaced.

You need to check your platen.(sp?) It should be a lever somewhere on your printer. Its what sets the print head distance from your paper. I had the same problem before and when I looked into it, I had it set to the "envelope" setting and I was using plain paper....caused it to feed extra sheets through the gap.
