    who's is this

    Hey all got a problem here figuring out what this modem is. A friend formated and reinstalled windows and of course neve thought to prepare for reinstalling hardware. It has an Agere chip on it with the numbers 1648C-tv5; FCC :2H9TAI-27142-M5-E (?). Does any of this ID this modem?
