floppy drive error
User is working from a floppy disk. When she periodically saves the files it sometimes brings up the error System Process - Lost Delayed - Write Data : The system was attempting to transfer file data from Buffers to \device\Floppy0\~WRD0123.tmp.
I was thinking it's a bad floppy. Any othre suggestions?
Thanks for your help.

Driver Terrier
User's do tend to use their favourite floppy diskettes over and over, and when there is nothing else to hand, use them as coasters and then expect them to be put back in the drive and that file that they spent their life working on to still be perfectly ok.
If the user is using a new diskette and that diskette reads ok on another machine... then I would see if the drive is full of fluff and change the cable.
