    Alright all you Windows 2000 gurus.... here is a challenge for you....

    I am trying to get the media button on the IE toolbar removed. (IE 6 sp1)

    When I run a reg file to take out the Customize option when you right click the toolbar, the media button comes back.

    My theory is if Media Player is uninstalled from Windows 2000 that button wont be there. But everyone knows how Microsoft is when it comes to uninstalling their stuff.

    Soooooooooo..... does anyone have any suggestions on how to surgically remove all Windows Media files and registry settings?

    The whole intention of this is for a kiosk image where users can access a certain database through the web browser.

    HELP!!!!

    Check here for instructions how to uninstall WMP (it says for ME but I think it will work for 2k as well)
