windows display colors
I had a pc that kept defaulting back to "High contrast Black" every time a new user logged on, no matter how many times it was changed to "windows standard." The only way I could stop it was by deleting the color scheme. Any idea what was making it default back to the "high contrast" scheme?

If its a new user it would be using the all user settings... if you press escape rather than log on, you will get the default all user settings... does it happen there? If so, if you change it, does it change back after saving and rebooting?

I should be more specific. We are on a novell network that uses policies so that any common or default user has windows standard background and a tech person or administrator has a red background. Somehow this computer kept overriding the policies.
