    New case mystery part

This is probably a stupid question to you case mod veterans, but I just bought a pair of aluminum cases (with transparent sides of course), that came with a part that's a complete mystery to me. It was not addressed in the assembly instructions, and I haven't got a clue what it's for.

It looks like a metal stand-off, except it's 6 inches long. It's threaded on both ends, but the threads don't match any of the scews included with the case.

I see absolutely no need for it, but it bugs me a bit not knowing what the heck it's for, so I'm hoping someone here can enlighten me!

    Thanks...

I know exactly what that is,it's a *******,that you need to mount safely next to the*******,and it will then hold the******** in place to keep them safe, and yes the ******needs special screws to mount it.

Maybe it's one of those things like a golden nugget, you should call your case vender and see if you won a prize for finding the mystery part!

Cant remember the model now, but we used to use a case from procase, which had a "mystery part" none of us figured it out and we used these cases for about 3 years! we asked the vendor he didnt know we asked his boss, still no clue.

We strung all off pieces of fishing line alternating with 30 pin simms to make a curtain in the summer. (as i got so hot in that damn shop)
