Taskbar
Does anyone know how to remove (permanently) the "past items" from the taskbar, found in properties,// START/PROPERTIES/TASKBAR/CUSTOMIZE two lists :current items and past items.

Good question... I will have a little play, see what I can turn up, but I haven't found an obvious way to do this.

You can clear the list of past notification items with this MSKB#283084 Article.
Note that it requirs Registry Editing

No need to edit the registry...I did it at home without all that...will post the answer when I get home so I can see and remember what I did.

Hmm, I myself was hoping that TweakUI had something that does that but I looked and saw nothing, and if the MSKB has nothing else, then a third party program like X-Setup might do it.
