    Problems with links at Yahoo!

I keep getting 404 errors just about every time I click a link in yahoo that looks like this:

    http://rd.yahoo.com/dailynews/fc/ent...inona_ryder_13

If I take the part after the asterisk and paste it in a separate browser, I get to the link fine, such as:

    http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmp...inona_ryder_13

This is happening on 2 of my machines, both XP Pro SP1 with IE 6.0 SP1 with all the updates.

    Anyone else seen this?

I am a Yahoo Group Owner and during the 14 months that I have administered the group I have had every problem you can think of and so have my members. I am in touch with other moderators and it is definitely Yahoo! I often cannot get my Yahoo mail, often find I cannot get to my group or else some feature is disabled, posts get held up. I find the effects are the same wheher on dailup at home using XP, W2K or ME or at College using a big pipe and W2K.

Yahoo have never replied to my or other Moderators' emails of complaint so far as I know. It is my guess that the servers are choked up with all that advertising. They seem to perform a lot of maintenance too.

BTW, I am finding lately that when I finish a Skill Drill Demo instead of giving me my score I get that the site is down for maintenance- very annoying when I need it to help my study.

Is the Internet coming to a grinding halt?
