HP 5XX Series printers
Hello,
I wanted to get a second Opinion.
Does any of you know how old HP 5XX series printer are?
I think it is about 8 years.
Please post your comments + suggestions (I am doing a clean up in the company Basement - everything more than 6 years got to be thrown).
Thank you,
Gabriel

I still look after 4 hp550c's while the quality for photographs is a joke, for printing coloured flyers its perfect.

If you can find the serial number, that will tell you when the unit was manufactured. Let's take S/N 2729A00629 for instance...the 27 is added to the year 1960...so this unit was manufactured in 1987...in the "29th" week...in America. So, if you have any S/N's less than 36XXXXXXX, they will be older than six years.
Hope this helps you out...
