Red face Hp 670C over network only printing half a page

Two machines are networked together with a simple peer to peer setup.

Both are running win98. The Printer works fine from the machine it is physically attached to, but from the other machine you only get about half a page. We tried an epson printer on this network and it works perfectly. So has anyone any ideas why the HP shouldn't

I have to ask - have you reinstalled the 670C driver? OR - have you tried printing using some other deskjet driver (like Deskjet 500 - just to see what happens)?

This is a bit of a longshot... I dealt with an issue a couple of years ago with an HP Deskjet on a LANtastic network. The only way that the HP would print correctly from the network was to do this: Install a Generic/Text-Only printer driver on the workstation that the printer was connected to and then share it on the network. Then install the normal driver on the other workstations and point them to the generic printer. It worked great, but I think the problem was a LANtastic/Win95 issue.

I've had bad luck with this same driver. Try installing another HP driver such as 550c thats how i solved it.
