access telnet server through cisco 1720 router

does anyone know what setting(s) need to be changed on my cisco 1720 router so that i can access my windows 2000 server through telnet from the outside?

cisco ios - Version 12.0(3)T

internal ips
router - 128.5.0.1
server - 128.5.0.17

Telnet is not the most secure mode. I don't know enough to give you advise on how to do this, but Telnet is definately not your best solution...that I can assure you.
