    Printing/Word Issue?

I hate problems like this. Wait, I hate all problems. That's why they're called 'problems'.

I have a user who keeps getting the bottom 1/4 of the pages of some Word documents truncated when she prints. Weirder still is that in the "Print Preview" of Word it shows the pages with the bottom 1/4 missing, but only sometimes.

    Here's what I've tried:

    1. New print driver (both 5e and pcl6) for her LaserJet 4000N - no luck.
    2. Uninstalled Word XP and put 2k back on there - no luck.

I think it's a crappy printer, but I've never seen printer hardware affect the way a document views.

    Any ideas?

If it prints what's in preview, then I doubt its the printer ...

Perhaps some weird code in her documents, or is it autoselecting some different paper .... ?

Bump ... anyway ... as you didn't get an answer other than my uninspired guesses ...

I've seen similar problem, but with HP LJ-IIIP - was not enough printer memory for page... Check printer memory using (device options in printer properties) and set it to max (agressive usage)...
Also it could be paper size is not correctly set - check it out...
