    Weird internet problem

One of my customers is have a weird Internet issue. I went out to check out the problem and i kept running into a wall. When the user goes into his hotmail account and tries to open an attachment, it will take him to the screen where it says that the file has been scanned for viruses and is ok to download. When he clicks the download link it will take in back to the opening screen of hotmail. It never downloads the attachment. This is happening with many different types of attachments (PDF's, Doc's, XLS. ect...) Has anyone seen this before. I close all programs that were running, and this still happens. I said that the problem just started recently and think it might have started when he upgraded to IE 6.0. I also tried to do the update IE to the latest Version; But The PC already has the current version.

    Any help is appreciated.

I usually keep a hotmail account and have had about 10 or so over the years, have had friends with accounts, my mom has and account and trying to get attachments via your browser has always sucked. This is normal.

Set up hotmail on the persons PC using Outlook Express.

    Click:
    tools
    accounts
    add
    mail
    fil in name and next
    fill in his/her hotmail address
    next
    fill in password and next
    finish

    done

You are now a hero and they get mail a hella lot easier.
