Video Card options
Over the holidays I received Microsoft Flight Simulator 2002, and Metal of Honor Allied Assault for Christmas.
Anyways, my current Video Card doesn't work with these, and I need some help selecting a video card.
The Medal of Honor requirements say:
Windows XP/Me/2000/98/95 (Windows NT not supported)
450 MHz Intel Pentium or 500 MHz AMD Athlon processor
128 MB RAM
8x CD/DVD-ROM drive
1.2 GB free hard disk space
16 MB DirectX 8.0 compatible video card with OpenGL support
DirectX 8.0 compatible sound card
So I'm looking for a Video Card in the price range of $100 or less. What is your opinion??
Thanks

GeForce 3 or GeForce 4 MX...for a little more you can get a mid-range GeForce 4 with the pixel/vertex shaders, well worth the extra cash.

How about the Geforce TI200 64MB?? I heard the TI's were better than the MX's? True or false?

If I bought this, would I need to buy a heatsink also??

i got my Geforce 3 TI 500 off ubid.com for $100 so you may try that. it was open box, so i took a chance. you may also want to look at the ATI Radeon 9000 Pros, i think they are about $100. personally i would stay away from the Geforce MX series of cards.
if you uped your budget to $200 and under you'd pick up a way better card and would probably be happier with it.

Wait until the GeForce FX comes out and see what that sets the GeForce 4 Ti's down to.
Otherwise get that GeForce 3 Ti500.... $100 and you cant go wrong.
