External parallell port drive
I have a box with connections on the backside there are two parallell ports, two rca-connectors and a power cable connection, i bought it on an auction and no drivers wher e supplied, inside the box where two connectors also, one IDE-kable and one powercable. Thats all info i have, i will scan and upload pictures of it to this url: http://hem.passagen.se/enmi/box/

There are several types of parallel port devices. The one you have is ether for an external hard drive or cd-rom drive or both. It is good for making backup but is very slow. I carry one with me with a 6 gig hard drive, with several operating systems on them plus tons of drivers. You have the same unit that I have but you are missing the cover that holds the drive in place. E-mail me and I will send you the drives.

I also need the drivers for the external IDE Atatpi drive- the ones I had on floppy no longer work-
